Keep the faith. It's always hard to do multiple reno tasks and some area always suffers. I'll share my mantra: It will get done. It will look great. It will all be worth it!

Repeat at will. I've said it an awful lot lately. :-)

You are not alone, for sure. Our "todo" list is endless and still bigger than our "finished" list. Already things we did outside needs doing again ( because of the dumb snow) and I still have half done things inside. I hated it when we rented a house but when I look back on it, we had lots of free time and nothing to worry about.

I wish I could show you my to do list....you would feel a lot better. There are so many things to replace, paint to strip, wood to replace, flooring to update, electric to update, etc. etc. etc. that your work sounds like a drop in the bucket compared...so, don't despair! Know that there is someone out there who has more work than you and it will all get done eventually. I like a neat and clean house also. However, for two years, my house has been turned upside down. I have learned to accept it a little and do what little I can with the time I have. Take your time and know that in the end, it will be just how you want it!

Oh my goodness! Hang in there - I think I know how you feel! You guys have already accomplished so much, though, you should be really proud of all that you've done for your home! I totally dig your "one room at a time" plan - I always think that if I can get JUST ONE room completely put together, I'll feel really good about things!
